Alt-rock sextet Cage The Elephant have announced a string of shows here in the UK, one of which is Birmingham’s O2 Academy. The news surrounding the tour follows swiftly after the release of their fifth studio album, Social Cues, which released back in 2019. The new album is a follow-up to their 2015 release, Tell Me I’m Pretty, and Unpeeled, a live-recorded album released in the summer of 2017.

The band were set to tour in mid-June 2019 but had to reschedule the dates due to guitarist Nick Bockrath requiring important leg surgery. As a gesture of goodwill to the fans, Cage The Elephant have upped their tour from a three-date ‘micro-tour’ across intimate venues to a run of dates spanning five shows.
Tickets for the UK tour dates are available now.
