American-style pancake shop Stickie Fingers to open in Digbeth

Birmingham’s latest opening Stickie Fingers will be a hit with fans of pancakes, crepes, smoothies and waffle pops

Digbeth’s first dedicated pancake shop is set to open at the end of July – and their opening is causing quite a stir online already.

As announced by Digbeth’s creative hub The Custard Factory, Stickie Fingers will bring American-style pancakes to the quarter’s bustling Gibb St, a lively street which already features indie retailers and restaurants like The Clean Kilo, Baked in Brick, KanteenThe Framers and Ridding & Wynn.

As well as American-style pancakes, Stickie Fingers will also offer milkshakes, sweet and savoury crepes, smoothies and waffle pops when they open in Brum.

While most people may associate pancakes with sweet toppings like chocolate, ice cream and maple syrup, Stickie Fingers will also offer savoury pancakes with a plethora of fillings ideal for filling you up at lunchtime.

As well as offering creamy milkshakes and cooling smoothies, they’ll also bring waffle pops to Birmingham – a tempting waffle-on-a-stick covered in sweet toppings of your choice such as chocolate sauce, hundreds and thousands, crushed cookies and marshmallows.

The Stickie Fingers team are already hard at work getting the shop ready with the aim of opening at the end of July, as seen on their Instagram.

Stay tuned to Counteract for more information, including a confirmed opening date and Stickie Fingers’ menu.

Stickie Fingers will be at Unit 20, Gibb St, Digbeth, Birmingham B9 4DT.
