Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher returns to Birmingham
Britpop legend Liam Gallagher will return to Birmingham this November, after already gracing the Second City at the inaugural Peaky Blinders Festival in September.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ singer will play Arena Birmingham on November 12th as part of a tour which will see him perform at arenas across the UK, alongside two dates in Dublin.
The thirteen-event tour is to promote the former Oasis frontman’s second solo album, Why Me? Why Not.
Gallagher will be joined on the tour by DMAs and Miles Kane, with the Australian band joining for the first half of the tour, including the Birmingham date, and the Last Shadow Puppets star replacing them for the second half.
Tweeting about the support acts, Gallagher said: “Alright I got the kids of Australia DMAs and also loaning Miles Kane out of Alex Turner’s arsehole as support for my tour be happy why me why not LG.”
