Villagers announce intimate Birmingham show – get tickets here
Villagers are set to play an intimate show at Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds on Sunday, June 9th.

The Irish band, lead by singer, guitarist and songwriter Conor O’Brien, released their most recent album The Art of Pretending to Swim in September 2018, and will embark on several small tour dates this June amongst their support slots with Mumford & Sons.
The Dublin outfit, known for their dark lyrics and experimental folk sound, rose to prominence with the acclaimed album Becoming the Jackal in 2010. In 2013 they released their second album {Awayland}, and 2015 saw the band release third studio album Darling Arithmetic, which won Best Album at the 2016 Ivor Novello Awards.

Villages were initially the vehicle for the songs of O’Brien, former guitarist of Irish outfit The Immediate, but they have since grown to a five-piece band. In 2016, the group released Where Have You Been All My Life, a compilation consisting of live re-imaginings of of their best known songs.
