22 year old Nilüfer Yanya is set to kick off her month-long Miss Universe tour across Europe this month in support of her debut album of the same name.
Hot off the heels of her critically-applauded debut album Miss Universe, Nilüfer Yanya is set to embark on a UK-wide tour this April. With humble beginnings of a stripped back acoustic-led singer songwriter, Yanya has evolved into a genre splicing artist with more gravitas and intrigue than she has so far showcased in her fledgling career. With a multitude of influences apparent across the whole record, and clashings of indie rock pop soul fuse and flow in and out of one another, witnessing the transfer of these sounds from studio to stage will be highly intriguing, with a fresh energy not found in earlier material waiting in the wings.
Kicking things off in Glasgow on April 3rd at Glasgow’s CCA, a further 9-top billing shows ensue across Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds to name but a few, rounding off her UK leg at Brighton’s The Haunt on April 14th, before taking the Miss Universe tour over to Europe for a string of headline shows across Germany, The Netherlands and Austria.
Support across all UK shows comes from dream-pop singer Westerman.
