Venue guide: Mama Roux’s, Birmingham

Part of The Rainbow Venues, Mama Roux’s is one of the latest hotspots to open up in Digbeth. The exuberant new venue has already hosted a raft of up-and-coming bands, including the likes of Black Honey and Honeyblood.

Venue Information

Mama Roux’s is the perfect combination of lo-fi homeliness and southern decadence. Born from a love of New Orleans culture, its striking, bespoke decor blends a multi-coloured, deep south slum aesthetic with the twinkling lights of a late-night lawn party.

It is also the new home of the acclaimed, always-popular Digbeth Dining Club, which hosts regular Friday night events featuring a smorgasbord of fine foods.
