Speaking about the new record, lead singer Harrison Koisser gave a fascinating insight into his views on what rock and roll represents today.

“My studies in the whole ‘Rock & Roll is dead’ versus ‘Rock & Roll will never die’ investigation have led me to believe this: After generations of focused monetisation, corporate contamination &moral depravation, Dead lies the cadaver of rock and roll past. But of course, as we know from the fabric of our own universe, Death is a doorway into life. Thus, upon death, born is the New rock & roll, free of it’s former warts &amp boasting a very simple mantra, That everyone can make the world a better place by being a lil’ kinder. Some people love guitars, Some people hate electronic computer music, some people hate both but if we respect the union of opposing forces, it becomes clear that simply none of that matters. What i’m trying to say is that rock and roll is dead & also rock and roll will never die but if you take a closer look, Kindness actually is, the new rock and roll.”

‘Power’ – the first track to be taken from the album – can be streamed below. It’s an envigorating single filled with pizazz, captivating listeners with its’ iconic sounding chorus. ‘Power’ maintains the brilliant guitar and bass lines that Peace are known for, veers towards a bold evolution that is promising. This follows the emotive ‘From Under Liquid Glass‘, a more sombre personal number dealing with the struggles of mental illnesses. These two songs alone give an enticing taste of what’s to come, and their third album is sure to continue the high standard set in the first two.

Peace treated fans to a phenomenal performance in October 2015 at Wolverhampton Civic Hall and this is their first headline show in the West Midlands since then. Spirits are sure to be high and this is one huge gig you do not want to miss.

Pre-sale commences at 9am on Wednesday February 21st for those that pre-order the new album here, and go on general sale from 9am on Friday February 23rd. You can view the full list of tour dates and pick up your tickets below.
