Die Das Der release new compilation in support of local venues
‘Without Venues, We’re Nothing 2’ curated by collective Die Das Der is a bumper CD of some of Brum and beyond’s best bands.
The second in the saga, this compilation boasts 34 tracks curated by the record label and collective of musicians based out of the West Midlands. Included in the bumper track list are exclusive cuts, live recordings and demos, all collected to help local music venues close to Die Das Der.
‘Without Venues, We’re Nothing 2’, released on July 3rd, features acts such as Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam, The Courtesy Group, The Starries, Eat Y’self Pretty, The Empty Pages, WMN and Downard along with many more independent artists. The first instalment in the series sold out on physical copies almost immediately, raising £1000 in the process.
Die Das Der said: “All money raised from sales of this compilation will go towards helping ensure the survival of several independent Birmingham venues that we have worked closely with, and that we all love, and also to support some of the brilliant self-employed individuals who depend on those venues and the Birmingham music and art scene for their livelihoods and are currently struggling due to the COVID-19 lockdown.”
‘Without Venues, We’re Nothing 2’ is available as physical CD or download from Die Das Der’s Bandcamp page on Friday, July 3rd.
