Presented by Home of Metal, the exhibition, titled “Black Sabbath – 50 Years” will be held at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery between 22 June – 22 Sept 2019.
The exhibition is said to “pay homage to the fan’s devotion and document the fifty-year relationship” with a series of historical photographs, memorabilia and stories on show.
Fan portraits from the Home of Metal archive will also be on show, including fan photographs taken at New Street Station on 3 February 2017 – the day of Sabbath’s final show.
Speaking about Home of Metal, Ozzy Osbourne said: “It’s an honour to be a part of the Home of Metal. I am just a guy from Birmingham who’s been blessed to have had such dedicated fans throughout my career. Like I’ve always said ‘I am nothing without them.”
Ticket information will be announced in due course.
