Idles to bring their ‘Joy As An Act Of Resistance’ Tour to Birmingham

Bristolian hardcore-punks Idles have announced a show at Birmingham’s O2 Institute as part of a fifty-four date tour of the US, UK and Europe. The tour takes it’s name from their hotly anticipated album, Joy as an Act of Resistance, out 31st August on Partisan Records.

Idles last played in Birmingham when they headlined All Years Leaving 2017 at the Hare & Hounds, cementing their Brum fanbase. Their previous album, Brutalism, was released last year to critical acclaim.

Support for the UK leg of their tour comes from fellow Bristolians Heavy Lungs, who describe themselves as “a loud band”. Based on that it’s not hard to figure out why they’ve been chosen to support the pummelling Idles.
