Music legend, Brian Wilson, best known for his work as a lead member of the Beach Boys, is returning to Birmingham on June 8th where he’ll be performing his greatest hits alongside fellow members, Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin.
Wilson, widely considered to be one of the most influential songwriters in modern musical history, will deliver a career-spanning set, featuring songs from his career with the Beach Boys and solo hits. Some of his best-known hits include ‘Good Vibrations’, ‘Surfin’ U.S.A’, and ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’. In his 60+ years as an artist, Wilson has produced countless classics spread over 30 studio albums, not to mention his work as a solo artist with albums like ‘Smile’ and ‘Imagination’. Brian Wilson is not only an influential songwriter but a musical icon and a treasure.
Brian’s last Birmingham show saw him perform ‘Pet Sounds’ live at Digbeth Arena, making his forthcoming show at Symphony Hall a sharp change with much more elegant decorum and a more intimate setting.
