This is Tmrw celebrate 10 years of promoting in Birmingham

Leftfield music promoters This Is Tmrw started in 2006 with small sweaty shows. Over the years they have put on a diverse range of bands and DJs from the unheard of to big names.

Some of the acts that have played for This is Tmrw include… *deep breath* Foals, Matthew Dear, Youth Lagoon, Jungle, Connan Mockasin, Outfit, Eagulls, Temples, MONEY, Drenge, Laplaux, Wild Nothing, September Girls, Toro Y Moi, Sky Larkin, Wave Machines, Japandroids, Esben and The Witch, Com Truise, Neon Indian, Dutch Uncles, Mazes, Face + Heel, Gardens and Villa, Ducktails, Casio Kids, Holy Other, Vessel, Swim Deep, Walls, Troumaca, Echo Lake, Yuck, Times New Viking, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Abe Vigoda, Drenge, Splashh, The Wytches, Julio Bashmore, Midland, Mark E, Lone, Wolf Music, Disco Bloodbath, Fort Romeau, Waifs and Strays, Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan and many more.

When you see the name ‘This Is Tmrw’ on a gig poster you might not be sure of the genre but you know one thing, that the acts will be amazing.

To celebrate 10 incredible years of promoting in Birmingham This is Tmrw are throwing a big party at their home from homes, the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath. Heading up the night are local legends Calories, playing their popular album ‘Adventuring’ in its entirety. That alone would be enough to fill the room but of course this is a big celebration and the support acts are of equally high calibre.

Support sees the return of Sunset Cinema Club, the long-since disbanded Youves back for a one-off show, Rainbow Grave and A Bull.

Definitely one for any self-respecting gig-goers calendar.

Tickets are on the door only so it’s probably best to get there at 7.30pm when the event starts, and it’s just a mere £5.
