Earlier this week we exclusively revealed that The Flaming Lips would be headlining the very first Innercity Live; a brand-new outdoor event in Birmingham. Today we can exclusively reveal the support acts – and it’s a very special moment for one Birmingham band.
We’re over the moon to reveal that Birmingham’s very own Hoopla Blue have been confirmed to open up for The Flaming Lips this August. It’s always great to see local bands getting great opportunities, so we can’t wait to see them play their biggest show to date on Saturday August 12th!
Following a sold-out show at the O2 Institute in February, Nottingham quartet Amber Run will also be returning to the city to support The Flaming Lips.
These two acts join the already announced Public Service Broadcasting in what will be an extraordinary evening of live music and visuals this summer.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticket Factory.
