Mike Skinner has revealed that he’s got a new Streets single ready to be released – and that there’s also a new album on the way.
He’s also busy producing a film called The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light, which is “a farce about guys and girls getting into trouble”.
Speaking to Q Magazine, Skinner revealed there’s a new track in the offing entitled ‘Call Me in the Morning’ which he’s been working on with Chip and Grim Sickers.

In an interview in the latest issue of Q, Skinner said: “I’m going to be releasing more music as and when I feel inspired in the lead-up to the film.
“I’ve got a track that will be out by the time this runs, I think, Called ‘Call Me In The Morning’ with Chip and Grim Sickers, which is really good. And I’m planning a mixtape during 2019, as well as getting back into the swing of festivals.”
Skinner didn’t reveal a release date, but Amazon have it listed as ‘expected on November 23rd’.
The Streets returned for a fully sold-out UK tour back in April and Skinner has already given us a teaser of new Streets music with the March release of ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ ft. Jaykae.
The Streets play a run of sold out dates across the UK in January and February, including three nights at Birmingham’s O2 Academy. Check here for limited tickets.
