Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, will perform at Mama Roux’s on Thursday 25th October at an exclusive CASA BACARDÍ event.
Multi-talented Nigerian singer songwriter Mr Eazi is the pioneer of Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as a distinctive mixture of ‘Ghanaian bounces, Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord progressions, and Nigerian patterns’ – a sound that he recently brought to the stage for CASA BACARDÍ at Notting Hill Carnival in a perfect celebration of the ‘sound of rum’.
His singles include ‘London Town’, ‘Leg Over’ and he also features on chart topping hits by RAYE and M.O.
Tickets for the night at Mama Roux’s cost just £5; proceeds from each sale will be donated to the award-winning, non-profit Lonely Whale Foundation, with whom CASA BACARDÍ is working closely with to reduce the use of single use straws.
Support acts on the night include South London rapper Afro B, Birmingham DJ and producer Timma T and London DJ P Montana.
PR executive, freelance writer and UoB graduate living, working and writing in Brum.
