Mumford & Sons to bring new album ‘Delta’ to Birmingham
Transmogrifying West-London band Mumford & Sons return to Birmingham for the first time in three years this November, in support of their upcoming album Delta.

The tour is earmarked by the band as the ‘most extensive and ambitious tour [they have] ever done’, aiming to ‘be everything’ and they are going to ‘leave it all on the floor’. The dates will see the quartet play in Europe, North America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Support for the UK, Ireland and North US shows is from Maggie Rogers.
Ushering in the a new musical era for Mumford & Sons, their new album Delta deals with ‘death, depression & divorce’, and brings back their synonymous banjos, but with a twist. Deeply textured and layered, Delta has a banjo on very track – though their presence is not obvious except for approximately two tracks. ‘Oh! That’s a banjo’ Marcus Mumford quipped to the BBC, emulating what he hopes fans will say of the album’s tracks. The project has been launched with lead single ‘Guiding Light’.
