Get tickets: Folk musician Ryley Walker to return to Birmingham this month
In association with Birmingham Promoters, Chicago folk musician Ryley Walker will be making a stop at Mama Roux’s later this month as part of his UK tour. Following the success of his breakthrough album, Primrose Green, Ryley attained positive reviews from publications such as Uncut and Mojo, along with acquiring high profile fans, such as, Robert Plant and double bass legend, Danny Thompson. Currently signed to the Dead Oceans record label, Ryley will be touring in support of his 2016 release, Golden Sings That Have Been Sung, produced by Wilco’s multi-instrumentalist, LeRoy Bach. An album telling of his return to Chicago following a year on the road and his acknowledgement of the emotional debris that he had left behind.
Support on the evening comes from fellow Chicago guitarist/composer, Bill MacKay.
