JAWS to end tour with homecoming gig in December

Birmingham band JAWS head out on the road this month – and they’re set to end the tour with a hotly anticipated gig in their hometown.

The tour, starting in Reading on November 17, also sees the band play Southampton, Exeter, Cardiff, Bristol, Norwich, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, York and Sheffield. The tour has got music fans across the country excited, with demand being such that extra tickets have been added for the Southampton date. The Sheffield gig has also been upgraded to their main room, with the show at Liverpool venue Magnet a sell-out.

What better way to end a hectic tour than a tear-up where it all began for JAWS – in Digbeth. The band will play the O2 Institute on Friday December 1 with support on the night provided by Leeds band Marsicans and London act Social Contract.

JAWS released their second album, Simplicity, just over a year ago and they also played a secret show at our 7th birthday party in April. They have just dropped a haunting video for the song ’17’, which you can watch below.

Tickets for the Birmingham gig can be found here.
