Venue guide: Town Hall, Birmingham

Birmingham’s Town Hall is a 1086 capacity, neo-classical, grade 1 listed building situated in the heart of the city centre.

Renovated and re-opened in 2007, the Town Hall has reinstated its position as one of the city’s most iconic venues and regularly hosts an array of events including live music.

Venue information

Town Hall’s Coffee Bar is situated in the main foyer and opens around two hours before a concert and serves drinks and snacks. Champagne hampers are available during the intervals which include a sandwich, cake and mini bottle of champagne. Free WiFi is available with any purchase from the Coffee Bar. The circle and lower bars also open around an hour before the concert starts.

All public areas of the Town Hall are accessible via wheelchair and there are various spaces for wheelchair users to be seated. The venue requests that you let them know before your arrival if you need one of these spaces, or if you need to borrow a wheelchair.
