Venue guide: ORT, Birmingham

Ort is a quirky venue in the heart of Balsall Heath hosting a full programme of events including live music, spoken word, cinema, dance, comedy, language classes, craft and photography workshops, drumming and pop-up kitchens all in a cosy, intimate setting.

Venue information

Ort is a family friendly venue and can cater for around 60 seated guests or 80 standing. Ort is closed on Mondays but open Tuesday-Thursday: 10am-10pm, Friday and Saturday: 10am-late and Sunday: 11am-7pm. There is disabled access into the venue but unfortunately no disabled toilets. Getting to ORT


By car

From Birmingham centre follow the signs for B4114, continue onto Park St/B4100, following it until you arrive at a roundabout where you take the 3rd exit (A4540) continue from the roundabout and take the second exit onto A435. Follow for 0.4 miles and you will arrive at your destination!

Parking

There is ample cycle parking opposite ORT and free car parking all around the venue.

By public transport

The number 50 bus route connects Moseley Road to Birmingham city centre. For more information on public transport in the West Midlands, please visit networkwestmidlands.com.
