Venue guide: Bramall Music Building, Birmingham
Located in University of Birmingham’s Edgbaston campus, Bramall Music Building hosts a variety of performances including classical music, jazz, comedy and film nights, and spoken word poetry.
Venue information
The building has a bar and coffee shop serving hot drinks, soft drinks, sandwiches and snacks, as well as alcoholic drinks during evening performances. Disabled access is direct from the street, and via elevators inside. Once on campus, head towards the clocktower to find the Bramall building.

Getting to the Bramall Music Building
By car
The University of Birmingham is about two miles south of the city centre, and easily accessible via car from all over the country. Once off the motorway, follow signs to the A38 Bristol Road and the university cannot be missed once on approach to Selly Oak.
Parking
The North East car park is five minutes’ walk away off Pritchatts Road. Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30 is paid parking, and it is free of charge outside of these hours.
By public transport
University train station is just two stops away from New Street (on trains with final destination Redditch or Longbridge). Turn left out of the station and walk down the hill towards the clocktower – you will find Bramall on your left. City buses 61, X62 and 63 all serve the campus from Birmingham city centre.
