Due to overwhelming demand Birmingham’s indie heroes Ocean Colour Scene are to play a string of Christmas shows with support from Motown royalty Martha Reeves and The Vandellas.
Over the past few years the 90s indie legends known for such classics as ‘The Riverboat Song’, ‘The Day We Caught The Train’ and ‘Hundred Mile High City’ have had a resurgence with a slew of sell-out shows and festival appearances proving the band are still very much loved and revered by fans old and new.
Support on these upcoming festive dates come from soul legends Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Motown royalty known best for songs such as ‘Dancing in the Street’, ‘Nowhere to Run’ and ‘Jimmy Mack’.
Ocean Colour Scene kick off their Christmas shows on Friday November 30th at Albert Hall, Manchester, finishing with two home-town show at O2 Academy, Birmingham on December 13th & 14th. Since announcing the initial 5-date Christmas Shows 2018 tour, additional dates have been added due to demand.
