Blossoms to bring addictive melodies to Birmingham this December

They’re Stockport’s most successful quintet; it would be rude not to attend their December tour. With two albums under their funky belt, and one of extended tracks, Blossoms have plenty of creations to bless your Friday night with.

It’s been four years since the release of the Blossoms’ first single, ‘You Pulled A Gun On Me’, and it’s safe to say things spiralled straight into a whirl of festivals, sold out gigs and sheer success.

Despite their down to earth look, we are talking about the band that supported The Stone Roses in the same year they released their debut self-titled LP Blossoms with one of their first singles, ‘Charlemagne’, becoming BBC Radio 1’s Track of the Day.

If there is even any possibility you have not become acquainted with the band, get started on their collection of pop melodies as soon as you can. Cool Like You, the five-piece’s second album, launched earlier this year and it’ll be a shock to the music system if this is any less success than the first.

And if ever in any doubt, just remember Ian Brown took an immediate fondness. There’s a reason they’re playing sold-out shows.

Blossoms will play the following dates in December:

03 – O2 Academy, Glasgow
04 – O2 Academy, Sheffield
05 – Rock City, Nottingham
07 – O2 Academy, Birmingham
08 – O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
09 – O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
11 – O2 Guildhall, Southampton
12 – O2 Academy, Bristol
