Get tickets: Electronica legends The Prodigy announce UK tour for December
The Prodigy have announced their first live UK dates since 2015 including a stop off at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on Tuesday 19th December.
For nearly three decades The Prodigy have been jackhammering senses with their aggressive blend of big beat noise. The ‘Godfathers of Rave’ have always ploughed an edgier path than their peers combining fist pumping attitude with a punk rock approach to electronica. Who can ever forget Keith Flint’s snarling vocals on the iconic Firestarter?
One of the greatest gigs we’ve ever witnessed was The Prodigy at Reading 1996 with the English Dogs guitarist Gizz injecting a riotous buzzsaw power to The Prodigy’s towering rhythms; snotty, in your face and vital, they are an essential live band. 2015’s The Day is My Enemy showed the raging energy is still there and with a new album on the horizon early next year the Essex crew are hitting Wolverhampton. Up close and sweaty this will be an incredible gig, we’ve already booked our ear drums into rehab.
