Libertines star Peter Doherty to play intimate West Midlands show next month
Following The Libertines’ recent secret show at the Empire in Coventry, iconic front man Peter Doherty will be returning to the venue in May.
Doherty, who is due to release his second solo album later this year, will return to the city for an intimate solo show on Friday May 27th. The Libertine is known for being well connected to Coventry as he grew up in the nearby town of Bedworth – making this show almost like a homecoming.
Coventry Empire is co-owned by Tom Clarke of The Enemy, who toured with The Libertines back in January, and have recently announced they are to split.
Tickets for Peter Doherty’s intimate West Midlands show go on sale at 9am on Friday April 22nd via Seetickets.
