Following online viral success, the band have embarked on a global tour showcasing their unique musical project.

The hang is a contemporary type of steel drum which were invented by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer in Switzerland during the early 2000’s. The drums’ distinctive, UFO-style hollow shape produces a sound akin to bells or the harp when stuck.

Released back in 2011, the track ‘Once Again’ has been viewed by over 40 million times. Hang Massive have successfully propelled hang music onto the global stage, establishing a diverse and impassioned fan-base. Celestial Colour – the group’s 10th album – came out this earlier this year.

Hang Massive will be presenting a mixture of songs from their celebrated album Distant Light as well as a selection of earlier works from live albums. The evening promises to be a spiritual interlude for instrumental and world music enthusiasts.
