Birmingham Children’s Hospital launches Big Gig 2016 campaign

Throughout September, Birmingham Children’s Hospital will be looking to raise as much money as they can – through the medium of music.

Big Gig 2016 is a brand new campaign which aims to both celebrate the local music scene and raise money for the hospital at the same time, in order to aid their vital services which help so many children across the region.

It’s really simple to get involved; you can host an event in September to raise money for the hospital or if you’re already hosting one, you could arrange a collection for the campaign at your event.

You can host your own event at school, college, work, your local music venue – the possibilities are endless. You don’t need to be experienced in hosting events either, as once your event is registered with the hospital you’ll be contacted with support and a guide on how to put a gig on.

To register your event or check out the events that are already taking place as part of the campaign, head over to biggig.live now!

If you want to get involved but can’t host your own event – don’t worry! You can head down to any of the registered events throughout September, show your support and spare a little change.

By helping out with Birmingham Children Hospital’s Big Gig 2016 campaign you’ll be improving the experience of every child who visits the hospital, whether that’s for a short stay or something longer. Every penny donated will go towards the conduct of ground breaking research, the continuous support for world class hospital facilities and will help keep a smile on every child’s face who passes through those hospital doors, however difficult the circumstance.
