Jimmy Eat World to headline Slam Dunk Festival 2018 at Birmingham NEC

Slam Dunk Festival returns to Birmingham in 2018 – and they’ve just announced that Jimmy Eat World will be headlining!

Slam Dunk Festival was launched by the Leeds-based Slam Dunk Records imprint in 2006, and this year they’ll be taking to Birmingham NEC for its biggest event to date. Jimmy Eat World will headline the event, which is now in its eleventh year.

The Birmingham date is the final day of the festival, which takes place over the late May bank holiday. Slam Dunk is also set to visit Leeds and Hatfield before coming to the NEC on Monday May 28th, 2018.

So far, Taking Back Sunday, Sleeping With Sirens, State Champs, Four Year Strong and Trash Boat have been announced, with many more to be added to the line up over the coming months. Last year’s acts included Enter Shikari, Neck Deep & Frank Iero & The Patience.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £49 (+ booking fee) for the festival only, £55 (+ booking fee) for festival and afterparty, or £170 (+ booking fee) for the “megaticket”, which includes entry to all three Slam Dunk Festival Dates and the afterparties.
