The Mighty Young announce debut EP details and Birmingham launch party
Counteract veterans The Mighty Young announced via their official website this week that they’ve being secretly recording their debut EP over the last couple of months. Neptune, their first physical release (and first recorded output in nearly two years) will be available to buy and stream after a huge launch party at the spiritual home of most local bands, The Sunflower Lounge.
With support coming from long time pals The Terror Watts and veritable entertainers The Bank Accounts, the band promises something a little different for this show, as they often have at certain shows over the years. From light shows to balloon drops to pyrotechnics, what will they bring this time?
The show is being brought to us by long time collaborators Killer Wave and will take over The Sunflower Lounge on the evening of May 28th, with an official video for the title track ‘Neptune’ coming in the next couple of weeks.
