(Sandy) Alex G journeys to the Hare & Hounds as part of 2018 UK tour

Following the widespread success of his 2017 album Rocket, (Sandy) Alex G is set to return to the UK to play a run of shows in intimate venues up and down the country.

Since his first release on Bandcamp in 2010, (Sandy) Alex G has been delivering his signature lo-fi indie sound to an ever-growing base of devoted fans. Having been described as “the internet’s secret best songwriter”, he embodies an entire movement of young musicians using the internet to share their fresh takes on established genres.

In 2016 he also revealed that he had a part in the recording and guitar work on Frank Ocean’s groundbreaking album Blonde, proving both his influence and his collaborative potential.

(Sandy) Alex G takes the classic indie rock formula and shakes it up with a tinge of folk acoustic and an aura of youthful innocence and vulnerability. Those who plan to attend should expect an inspiring and emotional performance from this rising star.

Be sure to catch him at the Hare & Hounds this September. Tickets are available here.
