Plan B unveils new album details and announces 2018 UK tour

It feels like forever since Plan B has been on the scene, but this year he’s finally made a reappearance, confirming both a new album and UK tour for 2018. Birmingham will be one of the seven dates played across the country.

With successful albums in both 2006 and 2010 (Who Needs Actions When You Got Words and The Defamation of Strickland Banks respectively), this is the longest break between albums yet. In the interim, fans have been patiently awaiting the rapper-come-soul-singer’s return to music, and they won’t be disappointed.

After the success of the recently released single ‘In The Name Of The Man’ (check it out below), Plan B has been going from strength to strength. The star of ‘She Said’, his new album – Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose – is set to be released in April of next year. One of the songs from the album that he’s released as a taster of what’s to come, ‘Heartbeat’, is a stripped back and honest insight into the man behind Plan B’s persona (real name, Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew).

Plan B will be playing a seven-date tour in April and May, including Birmingham’s own 02 Academy.
