Electric Six to play Birmingham on huge 2018 UK tour

Rabble rousing rockers from Detroit, Electric Six, bring their UK tour to the O2 Academy on March 1st and expect fireworks. A fearlessly off the wall approach to performance has chewed up past members and given audiences some unforgettable gigs. Their debut single, released way back in 2002, wasn’t called Danger! High Voltage for nothing.

Everybody knows Gay Bar, the iconic and controversial (though not for the reasons you may think) song from their first long player Fire, what you might not know is that Electric Six have just released their sixteenth album, How Dare You? With a back catalogue splattered full of banging garage disco rock tunes, an unpredictably out there lyricism and riotous live energy, these guys deliver on stage. Don’t take them too seriously because they absolutely do not take you seriously.
