Venue guide: The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham

Situated just a stone’s throw away from New Street Station, The Sunflower Lounge is a central base for some of the coolest up and coming bands hitting the city.

Whether you’re here for a gig in the basement or a bite to eat upstairs, The Sunflower Lounge has got you covered.

Venue information

On Smallbrook Queensway, near the relocated Snobs nightclub is where you’ll find The Sunflower Lounge. With it being a small, independent venue, facilities are limited so there is no cloakroom. For a pre-gig snack, The Sunflower Lounge offers a soul food menu (Sunny’s Soul Shack) which includes a range of starters, pulled burgers to die for and killer sides. Unfortunately there are no disabled facilities as the main venue is down a small flight of stairs.
