The Dark Horse in Moseley to host new blues-infused food and cocktail night
Forever a thriving beaker of culture, Moseley now has yet another great theme night to entertain the good folk of Birmingham. This Saturday (April 23rd), it’s the turn of deep, dark, Mississippi Delta Blues.
Spit n’ Sawdust at The Dark Horse Moseley will host one of the first outings for new Birmingham events company ‘Sansho Events’, and will see the bar be transformed for one night only into one of the Juke Joints of old, with Blues-inspired whiskey cocktails and smokehouse food being served with the ticket price.
Authentic entertainment will also be on hand courtesy of the Spit n’ Sawdust house band, ‘The Tom Walker Trio’ (video below), hot on the heels of their support slots with the likes of The Move and The Steve Gibbons Band. On top of this, The Brothers of Destruction will be on hand to offer DJ sets throughout the evening consisting of blues, soul and garage rock until the bar closes.
Spit n’ Sawdust takes place on Saturday April 23rd at The Dark Horse in Moseley, and tickets start at just £10, with options for sofas and tables. Tickets are available at this link and doors open at 8.
