Shed Seven Returns to hmv Empire Coventry for Exclusive Album Launch
Renowned Britpop band Shed Seven is set to make a triumphant return to the hmv Empire Coventry on Saturday, 12th October. Following two previously sold-out performances at the venue, the band will deliver an intimate album launch show for their eagerly anticipated upcoming album, Liquid Gold, slated for release on 27th September.
This album serves as a heartfelt tribute to Shed Seven’s 30-year journey as recording artists. Liquid Gold revisits some of the band’s most iconic tracks, reimagining them with orchestral accompaniment to offer a nostalgic yet innovative sonic experience. The album also includes a brand-new track, “All Roads Lead To You,” specifically written for this project, further enriching the band’s impressive discography.
Shed Seven rose to prominence during the Britpop explosion of 1994 and have since enjoyed significant success, including six studio albums and fourteen Top 40 singles. Their most recent album, Instant Pleasures, reached the Top 10 in 2017. Earlier this year, the band celebrated a major milestone with their first-ever official Number 1 album, A Matter of Time.
In celebration of the Coventry event, the band will release an exclusive bootleg variant of the Liquid Gold album on both CD and LP, featuring bonus tracks. Fans can purchase event-exclusive bootleg album and ticket bundles starting at just £28.50. An hmv-exclusive vinyl and ticket bundle will also be available for £45, but only while stocks last.
