This special event will take place just two days before the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Smitten. Tickets for this event are set to go on sale at 3 PM on Tuesday, 20th August, and can be purchased via HMV Live. About Pale Waves
Hailing from Manchester, Pale Waves made a significant impact on the music scene with their debut album My Mind Makes Noises in 2018. Their upcoming album, Smitten, marks a new chapter in their journey, showcasing a more reflective and mature sound.
The Story Behind Smitten
Unlike their previous albums, which focused on the present, Smitten delves into the past, capturing moments from lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie’s life, some recent and others from years gone by. Heather describes the album as a collection of feelings and experiences, particularly those tied to love and its fleeting nature. “When I fall in love, I fall deep,” Heather explains, “and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger. So I feel like Smitten really summarised perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.”
