Goodnight Lenin to launch new single at the Hare & Hounds this Sunday
Local lads Goodnight Lenin bring their Brum infused version of Americana to the Hare and Hounds this Sunday April 2nd to launch new single Portrait of Youth, a rousing anthemic tune filled with a delicious cacophony of swirling guitar, piledriving drumming and the emotional powerhouse vocals of John Fell.
His earnest observation that “the greatest weight is a heavy mind” sets the the tone of a profound song that climaxes in a good old fashioned rock out, we can’t wait to hear it live.
With last years album In The Fullness of Time garnering critical acclaim Goodnight Lenin are a Birmingham band in the ascendency and another reminder of our city’s incredible music scene. Stellar support comes from the excellent Matthew Edwards and the Unfortunates who have a new album out in April and FELL.
