Gaming News: January 2024’s Video Game Releases
A new year means new games. There is a lot on offer on various platforms this year. So allow me to provide you with a list of all on offer. I will split it up into different platforms because I’m nice like that some of the games will repeat, but you can pick your preferred platform and browse accordingly, and also because these lists can be a little generic, I’m going to give you some information on specific games that I can’t wait to play.

I love the Yakuza series, and its switch to turn-based combat is something I just adored. I grew up on turn-based JRPGs, and Like a Dragon was one of the best I’ve played in years. I can’t wait to see what the next game has to offer!

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – January 18
Another Code: Recollection – January 19
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy – January 25
Ace Attorney is a stalwart for Nintendo, and the classic games are finally getting an HD debut for the Nintendo Switch. I have never played them, so I am eager to pick this up and see what the fuss is all about. It releases on my birthday, so I may have to treat myself unless anyone else fancies picking it up for me?

The Tried and tested beat-up-up makes its extended await return. There are slick combos, crazy characters and sick graphics. What more can you want? Tekken is great because anyone can pick it up and play, but it’s hard to master. This is a must-have for fans of the genre.
