Premiere: Watch the new video from Birmingham quintet, Dorcha

We’re pleased to premiere the new video from experimental Birmingham quintet, Dorcha.

Ahead of their brand new EP due in the autumn and forthcoming headline set at Yr Welcome Festival in Digbeth, Dorcha have remixed their track Black Streams especially for summer, as a nod to the old as they make way for the new.

The animated video was inspired by the work of local collage artist Dom MacMillan-Scott and was brought to life through the collaboration of visual artist and videographer, David Stanley and director, Beth Bellis.

Speaking about the video, the band said:

“We hope you enjoy this version of our tune – remix/production by Anna Palmer and Luke Morrish-Thomas – and it’ll keep your whistles sufficiently wet for the next instalment we have heading your way… very soon.”

Sounds interesting! Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think.

Dorcha headline Die Das Der’s Yr Welcome Festival at the Wagon & Horses, Digbeth this Sunday (August 14th) and will reveal plans for their EP launch in the not too distant future.

If you have a sudden urge to tell Dorcha just how awesome their new video is, you can find them on Facebook & Twitter.
