Premiere: Listen to Lycio’s debut single ‘Air Part 1’

They’ve been bubbling on the surface of Birmingham’s music scene for a while now, but we’re proud to exclusively reveal the first official track from local experimental trio Lycio.

Out of Birmingham, Lycio are a contemporary 3-piece bringing a uniquely authentic take on electronic/hybrid music – combining distinctive vocals, real & electronic drums alongside pad/synth textures. Despite their interest in sound design, Lycio ultimately prioritise the song – great songwriting, vocals & melody (supplied by Genny Mendez).

Everything is played 100% live; no backing tracks, no stock loops, no playback. Hybrid music with that essential human feel.
