Premiere: Birmingham trio Quinn unveil new single ‘Near To You’

Birmingham dreampop / grunge band Quinn have released the video for their new single ‘Near To You’, exclusively with Counteract.

The track, taken from the forthcoming Seems Fine EP (released on Friday June 10th), is a laidback, reverb-drenched rocker recalling bands such as My Bloody Valentine and Girlpool. The trio – comprising of Sam Lambeth (vocals / guitar), Meg Vedder (bass) and Samm Jones (drums) – are donating all proceeds from their EP to Teenage Cancer Trust. To donate, and subsequently receive the record, you can pledge here.

The video, directed by Lambeth, was filmed in his surprisingly large back garden, and sees the singer collect most of his belongings (including two guitars, a typewriter and a Club L’Amour-covered Polaroid camera) before walking mysteriously into the distance. The scenic video can be seen below.
