Alfie Bird’s was a multi-storey Bar and Kitchen, boasting two small live venues and it’s adjoining sister venue, The Oobleck.
On the site of the once infamous Medicine bar, Alfie Bird’s sits right in the middle of the bustling bohemian metropolis that is The Custard Factory, where their kitchen and bar serves up fantastic fayre and cocktails. After a walk through the secret bookcase, you’ll find yourself in The Oobleck, Alfie’s flagship live music venue, home to new, local talent, as well as up to the minute international touring acts.
With a plethora of hireable spaces on various floors, Alfie Birds’ various bars and excellent kitchen serves up gourmet burgers and pizzas, as well as well priced cocktails. The venue opens at 9:30 on most days, all the way through until 23:00 at the earliest. Access to The Oobleck is either through the door in the main bar or through the double doors adjacent to the Custard Factory’s pond. Disabled access is good.
