John Grant set to play headline show at Birmingham Symphony Hall

Fresh from an arena tour with Elbow, John Grant is returning to the UK to play his very own headline show at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on August 16th.

Since his 2010 debut album Queen of Denmark he has continued to please fans with his witty and fantastical songwriting. Having collaborated with the likes of Sinead O’Connor, Elton John, Goldfrapp, and Hercules & Love Affair, John Grant has established himself as a substantial artistic force.

Supporting Grant at the Symphony Hall is Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør, who herself recently toured for the release of her acclaimed 2017 album Music for People in Trouble. Although known mainly for her synth-flavoured compositions, her latest saw her trade the synthetic arsenal for a stripped-down piano sound: showcasing her mastery and versatility.

Two formidable artists in such an enchanting venue is a recipe for what is sure to be an incredible night. Tickets are available here, and the full UK tour dates are below.

August

16th – Birmingham – Symphony Hall
18th – Brecon Beacons – Green Man Festival
19th – Bangor – Open House Festival
20th – Edinburgh – Edinburgh International Festival
