Photos: Haçienda Classical with Peter Hook at The Rainbow Open Air Arena

Deep in the depths of Digbeth’s concrete jungle, hidden away underneath the railway arches was a unique event for the city of Birmingham and it did not disappoint…

The spirit of Manchester’s legendary Haçienda club came to Birmingham at The Rainbow Open Air Arena on Sunday July 31st and our man with the camera, Paul Reynolds was there to capture it all. Kicking off with a live, electric New Order set from Peter Hook & The Light, the evening cascaded in to a fusion of dance and classical music with everyone’s favourite 80s hits, thanks to the likes of Graeme Park, Mike Pickering and Rowetta.
