Birmingham born Laura Casey is an upcoming singer/songwriter with a unique, delicate and compelling style. Currently living in London Laura is gaining constant recognition in the capital for her creative, soul-stirring tracks and captivating performance.
Laura has supported bands such as High Tyde and Ryan Evans, she has also peformed at BBC’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival and appeared on the Switch Radio Live arts launch. Having gained extensive performance credits at a variety of venues, Laura’s accomplished stage presence leaves behind a footprint on audiences, moved by her lyrical flair. Her silky, liquid-like vocals coupled with evocative melodies and expressive lyrics make for an intricately crafted, moving set.
Debut EP Chasing Ghosts is scheduled for release in 2016 and is set to be crafted of tales of London life and personal experiences. Named after her previously released demo, the EP is tipped to follow suit in gaining a great response to Laura’s unrivalled ability to lift listeners to a place of peace and serenity through words and music woven to perfection.
