Band of the Day #243: Gleam

Band: Gleam
Hometown: Birmingham
For fans of: My Bloody Valentine, Ride
Online: Facebook | Twitter | Soundcloud

Gleam will leave you zoning out of reality and into the world of shoegaze.

The five piece band are local to the Birmingham music scene, and with some band members previously being in Wide Eyed, Gleam endure a sound that could be described as a psychedelic whirlwind of excellence.

Gleam’s ‘Isn’t Real’ features divine guitar sequences, enhanced with exquisite shiny distortion effects and is complimented by flawless vocals. Listen below.

Gleam play the Hare & Hounds supporting Chastity on December 2nd 2015.
